Given that the deep (>2000m) comparisons all agree on at least roughly 3umol/kg
too high concentrations a downward adjustment might be justified…

320620180309 - alkalinity
Concentrations seem slightly too high but within the adjustment limits and with
only 4 sign crs its hard to suggest such a small adjustment. Maintain with
doubts.

Both carbon interconsistency check (offset of -0.0207 +/- 0.0060) and the crs
analysis indicate clearly too low values (mean offset of -0.011). Adjust in
order to improve both results. Note that 32062014 is not very trustworthy due to
2nd QC disagreements.

Pretty obvious and constant offset with depth of about 2%. Adjust downward
accordingly.

320620180309 - silicate
Tricky one as some crs show very strong offset (up to 6%). And all crs indicate
too high concentrations. However, for most reference cruises the crs stations
are their southernmost stations… And the ratio of offsets (still within vs ones
above the limit) is roughly 50/50...A bit dubious for a 2% adjustment. Maintain
with strong doubts.

A roughly 10% undersaturation is present in almost all surface samples. Not too
surprising given the region. Further the fit to both CFC_11 and SF6 is good.
